Grass Lake Times was created by Mike Lamentola and Chris Kent, two local content producers who have independently supported the Grass Lake community for more than 20 years combined.

Chris, the owner of CJMK Photography, has long been passionate about highlighting Grass Lake High School and youth sports—capturing moments that matter to families, athletes, and fans across the community. Mike, through his company Michigan Media House, has worked closely with local businesses, nonprofits, and municipalities to help tell their stories, grow their impact, and strengthen community connections.

Grass Lake Times brings those two paths together.

The goal is simple: create a dedicated place for Grass Lake stories—its people, events, sports, businesses, and moments that deserve to be seen and shared. This isn’t just a news site; it’s a community platform built to reflect what’s happening here and why it matters.

Community involvement is what will make Grass Lake Times successful. We welcome residents to share stories they feel should be featured, and we invite local businesses and organizations to support the content they believe is important and valuable to Grass Lake.
